About the Role

The General Manager position is one of the most strategically significant, challenging and rewarding roles at Workframe.  As the GM for Washington DC, you will be responsible for implementing our model in a crucial new market. Reporting directly to the CEO in New York, you will:

  • Recruit and onboard a network of qualified service providers (including architects, interior designers, project managers and general contractors);
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with Workframe’s quality standards across all projects;
  • Oversee regional sales and marketing activities;
  • Represent Workframe at regional industry events and in local PR;
  • Help refine our product and processes to optimize for scalability;
  • Drive development and growth in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience (gained in an architecture, interior design or project management firm) OR proven ability to succeed in a GM role
  • Strong industry network in the region
  • Exceptional networking skills
  • “Roll up the sleeves” mentality with a penchant for solving big problems
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to succeed as a self-starter
  • Commercial ‘know how’ – experience with financial projections and reporting on KPIs to senior management
  • MBA preferred (but not required)
