About the Role

As an Interior Designer you will work with clients, designers and project managers to execute noteworthy, and efficient office design. You will work with clients from start to finish by first determining the client’s requirements and design aesthetic. Next, you will be responsible for generating, and reviewing furniture plans, and product specifications, including 2D and 3D typical drawings, and fabric and finish selections. You will also be required to present your ideas and designs to the client, and attend site visits to ensure that projects are being executed to the highest standard.   

About You

Self motivated, creative, and detail oriented, you are equally comfortable interacting with clients as you are space planning and creating detailed specifications.  You have an excellent spatial planning skills, and are able to listen to a client’s needs in order to accurately translate them into a thoughtful, well designed space. You understand that a beautifully designed space is only half of a successful project, and the other half lies in flawless execution and customer service. In addition, you are excited to improve your skills as a designer and specifier, and are eager to work at a company that provides many opportunities for growth.


  • 5-8 years of experience working for an interior design firm or 3-5 years if specialized in contract furniture dealership
  • Contract furniture dealership strongly preferred
  • Experience with office design required
  • BA or BS in Interior Design, or similar field
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2016 and/or Revit 2016
  • General knowledge of CAP 2020 or CET Designer (or similar specification program)
  • General knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
  • Extremely detail oriented with a proven track record of completed projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively prioritize several competing initiatives
